“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”

-World Health Organization’s Definition of HEALTH

This website is a healthy lifestyle promotion & wellness hub run by Dr. Erin Stair, M.D., M.P.H., affectionately nicknamed Dr. Eeks. We like to keep wellness simple and natural and provide our readers with health information in order for him/her to make informed lifestyle decisions. Check out the blog and find healthy recipes, advice for healthier skin & hair, fitness tips, stress reduction tips , product reviews, personal stories and many more gems of natural health wisdom. We try to keep everything simple, earthy, and resort to nature and common sense as our number one teachers. We don’t give out medical advice. We don’t recommend specific supplement brands. We don’t endorse any outside products.

Also check out our health and wellness store, which features health-promoting products and stress-reduction tools and books. Check out Dr. Eeks’ latest book Manic Kingdom, a novel and eccentric tale about mental health, on Amazon.

Too often you’ll see blogs or websites that side with western medicine or those that side with alternative medicine. And then one side religiously bashes the other side. This website isn’t like that. We try to keep a balance between western approaches to diseases as well as more alternative and holistic ones. There’s good and bad in both, and we don’t take sides…,  unless it’s the world cup.

*PLEASE NOTE: This blog should NOT replace your Doctor’s Advice! What we do is provide information on interesting health and wellness topics.  And tell you stories. And make you laugh. We do not respond to questions about how to treat medical illnesses. ( That’s what your doctor is for.)

For your knowledge, please know that none of our statements have been evaluated by the FDA, nor should they replace or serve as medical advice. This is an informational site only.
